Synopsis
Sylvia Plath, famous author of 20th century is an American poetry and feminist icon since her brutal death at the age of thirty. The film offers a dive into her world and into her work by meeting women who are now on the scene where she grew up : the residential suburbs of Boston and Smith College University in the back-country of Massachusetts. Sylvia Plath was 18 at the beginning of the 50s. The words of Sylvia and those of today's young women form the voice of a feminine identity that has been constructed against authority, dogma, and conformism.
