Synopsis
Our documentary seeks to test out what research is on a daily basis and the development of scientific facts in a laboratory (The Salpêtrière Laboratory of Neuropathology). The film shows how lab benches, desks, test subjects, instruments, money, lectures and articles are recruited and linked by researchers to produce certain signifant chains of events which can be measured, repeated and finally interpreted, or a new method which resists (or doesn’t resist) controversy. Filmed on the spot, this mise en scene of our investigations of scientific production networks questions decisive hypotheses with protagonists which contribute to showing science at work.
